I agree with this mostly. We have for shit leaders that don’t understand that ‘faith’ is what really has to be sold. Few share the common struggle and shares of the people they govern. A ‘run’ could very well happen.
This isn't like 2008, most of the banks are just having liquidity problems. The assets they're holding aren't totally worthless like the MBS mess. We'll probably see more government-managed takeovers, but I doubt we'll see a collapse of the financial system again.
