I have around $100K sitting in my bank right now. I would like to invest the money but I dont have time to manage my investment/portfolio and/or invest in stocks. What would be a best bet for investment? Should I reach out to any financial advisor for managing my money? I an currently talking with Chase Financial advisor but who would be a better option?
I threw it all into VTSAX
1) max out 401k contributions 2) max out backdoor Roth contributions 3) throw the rest in a vanguard brokerage account and buy as much VOO as you can.
do not use a financial advisors. they say the same thing but take a fee each month. if ur not sure, start with a s&p index fund and diversify a bit in fixed income fund. the remainder, until u figure out what to do, park it in a hy savings, theyre 5% right now
Financial advisors can be super helpful. Especially once you hit a million. They offer tons of advice and opportunity. Investing in real estate, private companies, and tons of loan deals. Having an advisor has made me tons and allow me to focus on work
S&P500 index, sit back and relax
Every time this question is asked, I give the same answer and every time I get DM’s thanking me for my advice. Give your money to me.
