What do you guys talk about with your manager in you 1:1 meetings? He asks me if I have any questions and I usually don’t and don’t know what to talk about.
When is the next salary hike.. how much are you getting paid
Ask for feedback, any areas they think you should focus on. And on the other hand, discuss ur aspirations or career goals, roles, money, everything. Get a conversation rolling
Whenever I ask for any feedback, it's always positive. He is happy with my performance.. I've never had money conversation with my manager. Would it be okay to talk about it out of the blue?
Ofcourse don't talk about money in every meeting, but you can time your compensation talk around the time of appraisals /hike in your company. That way you are not overdoing it and yet bringing it up at the rightful time

Are you me?
This always works lol!
We shoot the shit for an hour and run out of time for things we meant to talk about.
You get an hour?
Once a month.
Ask what they talked about in their one on one with their boss
Look at the big brain on big randy.
Think about what your goals are at work and work backwards. If you have no goals, ask for advice on setting a goal. If you don’t care and just want to cruise then ask for feedbacks: make sure you are still at the bar so you don’t get fired when you are trying to cruise.
My manager just talks to me about the task I'm currently working on. Good or bad?
Unless that’s what you want to talk about but that shouldn’t be the starting point. If they initiate the conversation about project tracking, it’s bad.
Mostly connect on an interpersonal level and tell a few jokes. Good workers are easy to find but true friendship is rare and irreplaceable ;)
sir this is not wendy’s
lol
Ask for a raise Tell him you guys should buy an EV company Tell him you wanna beat FB in the Metaverse
Underrated strat
So many things. But first your manager has to be interested, knowledgable and invested. You could ask about their priorities, offer ideas, question their goals, ask for data, discussion process improvements. Ask about themselves too sometimes. So many topics!
Well said. I’d add, if the manager doesn’t have anything to say on these topics: maybe find a new manager (and/or job).

Ask where is my money
I'm professionally asking by submitting a compensation adjustment. request. Today, I showed my manger that our CEO made 10mil last year. Manager: "No wonder why they can afford those big houses." 🤣
Yeah but you can’t ask for more money every month 😂
