What is wrong with the house. It has a 8K+ lot area, decent price.
It is a piece of shit, like almost any house near a large city.
It’s Education Hill near Meadow Park and the trail. It looks like it’s been updated inside. Inventory is low and it looks like there was probably a bidding war. Some tech people don’t want a yard because they don’t want to take care of it.
They just want to pay the high price and not really want to get the actual land. I guess they just feel good that they could afford a large amount even if it doesn’t get them anything.

probably about the same except downtown kirkland/DT Bellevue which might be a bit more (to a lot more) expensive
Bellevue is central and populated. Kirkland/Redmond can be seen as suburban. IMO
