How was the interview process?
I interviewed for the product team, and it was pretty easy and straightforward. I had 4 rounds. Recruiter screening, hiring manager, take home assignment, and team panel. They’re pretty big on cultural fit and having a high attention to customer needs and wants.
So many companies I had offers for doing layoffs. 😳 I keep thinking, that could have been me! But then I remember the pay was way too low.
Isn’t this the second time?
First time.
We had marketing layoffs (about a third of the marketing team) back in Sept! So I’d say this is the second round too.
Our layoffs had nothing to do with funds. It was performance based
The previous iteration of performance review was a fucking mess. So they may think it was performance based while in reality it’s random.
That’s wild because I work on the klaviyo integration at tiktok and the people at klaviyo currently supporting us are the most incompetent and unprofessional people I’ve ever worked with. Should’ve laid off more
anyone considering applying to klaviyo sales DO NOT. Delete the idea of klaviyo or any type of email marketing from your conscious mind. Toxic culture, toxic company - run far away.
What happened? I was stunned they got 10 bill valuation on 140 mill or so in revenue in a overcrowded marketing segment.
That is monopoly money valuation
