2.375 % mortgage rate
I was offered 2.375% mortgage rate with zero closing cost by Loandepot but i could not lock it because my application was already pending with the other officer from Loandepot due to very slow process, is there any other lending company can offer this rate in current market with following scenario. Loan balance : 750k Property type : SFH in bay area LTV < 70 % I would like to know if anyone had recently locked 30 year fixed mortgage for 2.375% rate with zero closing cost.

Yea, I locked same terms with LD at the start of Dec. The process is indeed very slow. Not sure if they are just really this slow, or it is just this month due to holidays etc.

Loan depot is very slow I locked the rate and they went into radio silence mode it’s been 5 weeks now and have another 2 weeks before rates expire
Better.com will match loan depot if you have the loan estimate document. They will actually offer you additional $1000 off on closing costs
Any contact that you have? When I try to look up current interest rate they offer, they ask for email, ssn, etc
You don’t need to give ssn till you are ready to move. Just create an account and they will assign someone to you
Now the days these say one thing in calls and then tell another in loan estimate. For me loandepot says that I have 2k for closing costs but on loan estimate they mentioned around 4K and they will update it on closing time
