SYNOPSYS Offer
Offered 130k base + 12% bonus/year + 10k sign on as AE Sr II role at Synopsys Mountain view location with 6 yoe + MS. Seems low to me any chance of negotiation here? This is post sales role.
For 67 and above you can ask for rsu

are you senior or staff at qualcomm? this is even lower than a senior at qualcomm
I was at Engineer III position(contractor) @qcomm which is equivalent to Staff Eng. And base vise I was getting more at qcomm. Only reason I am switching is to get full time due to visa issues nowadays.
No... qcom Sr comp is shit. 120k base at most. 8% bonus, and many didn’t even get RSU
You can negotiate more on the annual bonus upto 15% and sign on to atleast 20k and more rsu if your grade is 68..for 67 they may not give ...what's your current TC and unvested rsu holdings in Qualcomm
No RSU as I am contractor.but my base was 150k

Snps is no more well-paying company. Promotion is a lot slower than other companies. Look for other opportunities.
I am getting about the same for another company in Austin. Have a new verbal offer from Snps, they are not giving me any number and asking me to give them a number . I am thinking 165k base but looking at above comments don’t think that’s gonna happen.
What's the salary expectation for someone coming in with 9 years of experience targeting a Staff Product Solutions Specialist position? Is this a grade 69 position?

Yes sr staff is 69. Principal manager is 70
Which grade they have offered..is that 67 or 68?
Not sure about grade but at AE SR II position they won't offer any RSU.
