Announced last week that they found lead and copper in water samples at SnapHQ, due to complaints about the water tasting funny. Didn’t bother to tell us the levels found. Found out a week later via email (and 3 weeks from the original testing date) that one of the buildings had 6x the level of lead and 15x the level of copper determined “safe” by EPA. Company response was “We are sharing the data we have now so you can discuss with your healthcare provider if you have concerns.” On top of all this, they aren’t even letting us work from home after this ordeal. Just putting bottled water in the fridges and expecting us to still come to the office. This is a cursed company 💀
Nice. Could be worse, like a male coworker putting things into your watter bottle.
story time
I think this happened at Meta: Man found guilty of putting his semen into co-worker’s water bottle https://nypost.com/2020/09/22/man-found-guilty-of-putting-semen-into-coworkers-water-bottle/amp/

Who is filing the lawsuits
I am withdrawing my job application with them. 😜
They want layoffs without severance so bad that they'll do this to the employees
That explains their room temperature IQ posts on Blind.
that explains why i am a bag holder
Time to lawyer up and take a class action lawsuit...if you get sick. and do it fast before they change their policy to where you can only do an individual arbitrage. If I'm not mistaken, lead poisoning will get you workers comp only, for emotional distress etc, you have to sue.
