I applied Facebook (Meta..) 2 years ago and miserably failed. Since then I never applied again. This month 3 Meta recruiters reached out for a Data Science role. Is there some great resignation happening ?
Weāre growing and we have ambitious hiring objectives. Not all recruiters are of low quality the majority are actually best in the industry.
Growing or trying to backfill vacancies? Iāve seen a ton of people leave recently. Curious what the net hiring rate is
+1.. backfilling or growing?
Waiting to jump to Meta soon ā¦ but just joined G š¢
TC?
Itās not a great resignation, itās a great expansion. We have huge growth in 2022
No - the attrition numbers remain pretty low. The issue is that the company has unrealistic expansion goals in the west coast
In my experience, Meta recruiters have been super unprofessional and messy. A recruiter reached out to me to join a newish org, I showed interested the next day, was connected to recruiter, gave availability, then silence for weeks. I followed up a few times and nothing. Eventually lost interest after progressing with other companies. Then out of no where the recruiter sends me a proposed interview date lol weak
Sounds like Amazon recruiters!
Sounds just as bad as my Samsung experience. Application, first phone interview, all good. A few days later, a missed call with a voicemail of the recruiter trying to reach out to a different candidate for the same role. I just decided to let it go. Another call a few days later notifying me that i didnāt get the role and what at the time felt like a genuine attempt to stay connected for future similar roles. Now the next day, the same recruiter calls again, and starts the call verbatim to the call from the prior day. Like uhhhh, and she just kept going. Once she stopped, I was like ummm, and she blurted out immediately āwe spoke yesterday didnāt weā smh
