Trying to use my perks+ as I'm going to leave soon. I've currently got 3 27" monitors. Wondering if a single 34" is better. Budget is ~$800. Use Case: Work (Coding, Web Browsing, Youtube): 70% Gaming: 30% In theory, I like the idea of one screen. Easier cable management, only 1 monitor arm. Cleaner. Not sure how well it would work in practice though. What is your setup like? What monitor do you use? tax: 160k, 3yoe #monitors #setup #ultrawide
I have used two 27 inch monitors setup and then a single 32 inch monitor. I prefer later. Just make sure it should a 4K.

I’d suggest trying a single 38” curved. I had two 27’s and it was a pain moving my neck around constantly. Tried a 49” curved, too wide and I prefer a flat screen. Got a single 32”, although my use is entirely web browsing and programming. I use a windowing manager with multiple desktops and that makes things way smoother for me. Have a single 38” curved in the office (we get 2, don’t use the other), and I like that too.
+1 for Ultra wide curved. Having them all in one place makes a difference. Desk is also super clean if you chose to use desk mount hardware.
I like one big screen vs several cluttering my desk. When I really need to have two visuals, I just split the screen
Just switched to 32” 4K , not curved and my laptop on a stand as second screen - much happier
I use the LG 34” 5k monitor and love it. Not cheap.

The real answer is in the comments. LG or Samsung?
I have the Samsung Odyssey G9. Like it a lot, the continuous screen real estate changed my workflows.
