Life Beyond MAMA(Microsoft Apple Meta Alphabet)

Lately I have seen a trend in tech, that every conversation that happens is around getting into one of these MAMA companies. Folks who are not in one of them, are pushed into thinking that they are inadequate(this may be happening inadvertingly). I wanted to say this: 1. Working in a MAMA is great. But even if you don't and feel fulfilled by your role at any other company, it is totally OK. 2. Getting into Google is not the ultimate prize for all software engineers. There are several wizards who donot work in google but have done amazing work and made great contributions to the SW world. 3. I know with the cost of living and inflation we all want more TC. But if you come on social media, seeing others get more TC might make you feel that you are lagging behind others. This is unhealthy. You don't need to indulge in constant comparisons.
