How hard is it to get into HRT or Jane Street after Google?
Anyone here work at SAP CONCUR? Has the Coronavirus hurt demand/work for concur employees? See any signs of possible layoff or postponing hiring?
I just signed an offer with Concur and am nervous - my start date is mid-April. I haven’t given notice to my manager yet; I may do it next week, as it appears we are on a hiring freeze and I actually feel horrible because of the timing - and the fact I have a really good, professional, and respectful manager.
I work on the travel side and we’re a bit slow but still fine. Layoffs are not coming our way, so you’ll be fine even though you’re a new hire.
Hey I am interviewing for SAP Concur Travel Engineering team. Do you mind sharing some information about the org?
Saw SAP's earnings announcement today and Concur revenue was down 4% in Q2. That seems really good with business travel falling off a cliff and all. Wonder how much it would have grown without covid19.
Definitely will be hit as a sizable chunk of Concurs business is travel. However, expense is the bread and butter. I believe hiring is frozen, although I doubt it affects anyone with an offer, signed or not. Overall Concur does decently with holding onto employees so I don't think you have to worry about being laid off any more than anywhere else.
