https://www.redfin.com/CA/Palo-Alto/470-Ruthven-Ave-94301/home/867973? Walkable to downtown Palo Alto, 7k lot, 2013 built, 2617 sqft Dream home for many
I would consider paying $3M. The lot is tiny.
And it doesn’t have a garage.
that's a solid $300, maybe $400k house in most of the country. You would have to be insane to spend over 10 times that.
Most houses in palo alto are that tiny but still demand crazy prices.
In Texas, a house like this only worth 400k - 500k, CA is way too overpriced
Like you said, it’s Texas. Texas people think California is comparable with Texas. It isn’t
Man I used to be in the bay, in San Jose. CA is not that desirable as you think
I don’t feel bad for the likely NIMBY owner who likely loves that companies grew in the bay, didn’t oppose corporate zoning or encourage work from home, while demanding no new homes or apartments be built to inflate their own home price.
Buying your way into perpetual slavery.
Look at the property tax 😲
Interior looks pretty old for 2013 construction date.
That'd go for 900k-1.1mm around by me, though property taxes would be like $15-18k/yr
You forgot an m
