Fedex immigration policies
I am offered a job position at Fedex as Full stack developer 3 with TC 107K and they said they ll sponsor my greencard after a year based on my performance or they might do it even before that based on my manager’s discretion. For reference my h1b status was in effect since october 2021 and my fiance just has one attempt left for h1b lootery next year and hence I am trying to join a company that pays better and also sponsors me sooner than others. GreenCard Process is very slow. For me, it took 26 months since the beginning of the process (fortunately no audits). If quicker greencard process you are looking for, try some other company.
If there is a audit, then how far would the process be delayed ? What might be the usual timeframe for other companies for green card process ?
Get prepared for the extremely slow process. On the good side, FedEx reputation speaks for itself at immigration and audits/denials are extremely low.
