Hi, I wanted to evaluate the offer from Qualcomm. Base 160k RSU: 75k/3 Signon: 30k YOE: 6.5 Location: SC Role: Physical Design. How do you guys think this offer holds up against industry standard or even by Qualcomm standards? Any inputs would be appreciated.
Do you know the team? Core teams can push higher.
Is GPU considered to be part of the core team?
Can i know what type of position it is ? DV, arch, pd ?

Ouch!! That really hurt. :) I know its far less than what FAANG offer.. but Intel, Qualcomm cant match them..
You need to update your post that this is a PD position. People might think it's SW. Doubt QCOM ever pays that much.
Base is on par with industry standard. Negotiate on RSUs and Sign On
Looks low from NVIDIA point of view.

This is a staff offer. Good on base but can go to near 170. Stocks are fixed for the most part. Signon can be pushed to 45k very easily but if pushed hard with competing offer, it can go to 60k also

Qualcomm is very strict on base and stocks. I couldn’t push beyond $149 in non Bay Area and Bay is 15% more. You can try but in my case they were ready to walk away
