Anyone work at Plaid? Would love to get a referral. Also how is it like there in terms of wlb and interesting work? YOE: 4 TC: 91k#engineering #software #swe
The people that are positive about Plaid those that have been at plaid before the 13.4 billion valuation and have made their equity. The people that joined recently feel like they got completely screwed over I would imagine the other posters joined when plaid was fun. They had a chance to do retreats, trauma bond over visa, see growth happen etc. People that joined recently are basically being hired to clean up their mess and take on their technical debt. Personally I recommend staying away. People are getting silently get laid off. Check out the other plaid related posts on blind.
I joined at 13.4b and am still pretty happy fwiw
I understand that sentiment but this applies to almost every tech company and is not Plaid specific. Valuations were high a few years ago and now they aren’t. Not much we can do about that but it feels like Plaid is pushing forward in the right way and there are many reasons to be optimistic.

'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
I have been there for a few years and honestly only have good things to say. You may hear negativity on here but those people are a very loud small majority in my experience. Of course there are growing pains but the work is definitely interesting and the people are incredible. Plaid is building a ton of really cool shit.
I DMd you if you don’t mind, hand some additional questions!
Seconded. Overall my experience has been positive, but specifically the best part of working at Plaid is easily the people. The talent and culture of our people are elite.
