85% of my LinkedIn feed is now TRASH
The platform has been devolving into pure trash content. 60% of my LinkedIn feed is about people getting new jobs. They are always humbled and excited about joining ______ company 20% is recycled feel-good business stories spam, i see the same story getting copy pasted by wannabe Influencers. 5% is about LGBTQ+ weddings or anniversaries and some cliche message about how it IS actually relevant for it to be posted in LinkedIn 15% is real business content

Not really. I get cringy posts on my feed from people I don’t follow. They are 3rd degree connections and yet land on top of my feed. I am tired of “I’d like to thank my recruiters and uncles’s grandfather and will be joining Google as intern next summer.” posts.
It's the people, not the platform .. so why are they in your feed ?

LinkedIn was never supposed to be for feed. Just apply for jobs there and come to blind.
Does LinkedIn intentionally push the "I am happy to announce...." posts so that people start applying to jobs in FOMO? After all a lot of their revenue comes from the job postings/recruiters.
Their feed algo is designed to show them. So yes
