Can’t understand the logic behind this dasher. He can either decline the order or demand a higher percentage sharing from doordash instead of blaming customers?? https://youtu.be/unF6jBt6hc8
He would fit into the tech scene well. Say he’s underpaid at $160k, 2 YOE, and he’s living on food stamps.
Have some compassion. Times are hard. Tip 50% min
Why not 100%?
Amazon, feel some compassion, give away all your investments to homeless people. You got extra while some people are on the streets.
The corporations and the ultra wealthy have done a great job on us. Pay shxtty wages and let the employees and customers fight over tips.
I don't get it. They know how much pay they will get. If you don't like it, don't work
Same thing happened today. I went and told my boss “nice car” for a 2% increment I got! Should I look for a new job too?
The most American thing I have seen today.
You know what's more cringe than this guy's comment? The people here talking about him like he's not a human. Who the fuck goes out of their way to get someone fired and get it on the news just because someone wasn't their best self for 2 seconds? The issue here is that companies like door dash are fundamentally exploitative. They lead people on with promises of making good money and then they later find out they aren't employees, and don't make a reliable wage. I say this as someone who hates tipping. It is known to be racist and ineffective at yielding better service. Want to know a better way to treat people? Pay them what they are worth and create honest pricing. https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/trends/south-park-matt-stone-trey-parker-casa-bonita-colorado-30-per-hour-wage-no-tips-10917251.html
Bro, why you so angry. It is just an opinion.
Srsly, who to blame here? The company that can’t pay their worker enough and have them beg the customers for more instead? Or the govt allowing this to happen in the first place. It is modern slavery if you ask me. We should make tipping and gig works illegal; and pay the worker a fair wage. sure the service industry will suffer short term. But people will eventually come to terms with it.
Nobody to blame except the pizza delivery guy. He accepted a job on a specific term. The terms were that he got most of his money from tipping. He could have opted for a job with a minimum wage but thought he would make more from tips. He was wrong and expressed his bitterness on someone who has more money.
You are hearing the pleas of a man in desperation. Please try to use some empathy to understand why he may feel this way.
he’s unqualified for customer facing work and should show some gratitude to people who are tipping at all
OneWithout, It doesn’t look like that.
