I've mostly worked in gaming startups and wondering what the pros and cons are for working at a larger AAA Gaming company -- besides the stability, is the comp a lot better? is the culture better?

I feel with AAA (as with any large company in general) it's valuable to see what systems and processes are put in place to run efficiently at scale, understand why they needed to happen, and observe cases where it was unnecessary. Culture varies but perhaps one obvious difference is that budget and steering decisions are less visible to the rest of the team. (Again probably the same as any industry.)
