Anyone ever received a severance package from ADP? If so, what did you get and has anyone tried negotiating terms? I’ve been there 5 years and they’re offering 2 weeks per year, but nothing else. While I was on medical leave, they gave my position to someone else and when I got back, they didn’t have an open role for me. Wondering if I could get anything else in the severance offer…
What BU and location? It probably varies per role and location.
NAS Product Manager in Los Angeles
OP- what pay grade did you have? A req posted for product manager but it’s a 7. Incredibly low if you ask me but based out of NJ
I thought the company had to hold your job while you are on FMLA or short-term medical disability. If your position is eliminated while you are out, that is a different matter and you are subject to layoff as if you were working.
Only FMLA period offers job protection. Once that period is over, even during short term disability, there’s no job protection unfortunately.
So I guess you took more than 3 months of FMLA +medical leave then
Ugh, that's horrid. Sorry OP. Hope you get back on your feet. ADP isn't a loss.
That situation sucks. At least you get severence. Would for many a fortune 500 or IPO startup, there is no severence.
Layoffs probably won't happen this year, just my thoughts
If you negotiate well enough you can probably make out with a nice pat on the back. Maybe even a “you were are a key resource”
Sounds about right lol
