I am getting offered a base of $159k for director role within credit risk. I feel like I have been low balled. Please advise what to expect: Yoe: 15 yrs Please consider my work experience in mind as well
Well looked up average salary for credit risk director and I guess this does fall within the median pay but definitely try to negotiate for higher pay if you can. It doesn’t hurt
What’s the location? I think Capital One is a comparable company and Director level BA pays about 200 base with total comp of 250-300.
Nyc location
What’s the total comp? You just posted base.
Okay NYC location then expect on average 250k
See this thread: Check out this post! "Amex Compensation (Finance Industry)" https://us.teamblind.com/s/pQvT3MhW Seems like their salaries are very low, so maybe titles are inflated

I’m a director at Amex. This is actually a high range 1st year director salary. You will have targeted 20% bonus so tot will be around 190-200k (there will be some multiplier based on you performance, relatively generous multiplier compared to some big tech)
Definitely low balled, too low considering your level of experience
