Senior PM 145k base + 12% bonus + 10k sign ON YOE: 5 Is that good ? #pm #product #productmanager
Folks who are saying No. Can you please elaborate?
Good compared to what? Most people on blind work for tech companies and they tend to pay Senior PMs more than this offer.
Good for non tech + decent WLB ?
Here's my AMEX Offer. Structured a bit differently from yours. I think both are okay.
Is that what Red Hat pays you in ? Coupons ?
Yes very narrow bands but when I just signed on a few months ago I was able to get a base of 150k and SOB of 20 for a fully remote opportunity in the Midwest (not in NY/Chicago)
For Sr. PM you can get 165-175k base / 20k target bonus / 20k sign on with Capital One.
For remote or office based ?
OP this is a good offer for Amex, especially with remote. ESPECIALLY with H1-B. They usually don't sponsor for PM roles, mostly for dev/tech. Bonus will not be 12%, that is the base target, usually bonus nets out to 20% or more with multipliers, last year my bonus was 27% for better than average performance (not outstanding). Also you'll get a 6% 401k match and another 2% annual company contribution. WLB can be good depending on the team, and your work can be interesting. Lots of PTO and flex days.
Nice , how long have you been at AMEX ? What's the standard range of TC for Sr. PM B35 ? Are you based out of NYC office ?
About two years at Amex, not NYC. Phoenix, most peoples range is similar to what you posted. I’m at 140k, 5 YOE as PM, previously developer/engineer.
Do you know the range for a manager?
It’s not bad, I would push for Base 150 and a SOB of 20k
They seem to have pretty narrow bandwidth for base and sign ON. Are you suggesting this for NYC location ?
