Can someone please provide some information about the work culture, promotion opportunities, work life balance and total compensation! I think Cedar is a decent place overall. WLB is pretty good. There used to be a lot of crunch around go-lives and they lost some really good people to burnout. Since then, they’ve made some changes to alleviate that and they’re looking for ways to improve it further. The culture is overall really good, IMO. A lot less political and back-stabby than some other places. People seem to genuinely want to help each other do the best work they can. Total compensation is lower than FAANG but it’s still reasonable. They’ve also started doing RSU grants but we’re pre-IPO so it’s Monopoly money for now. 😅 Opportunity for promotion is definitely there if you’re willing to put in the work.
