'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
Can you people please rate this offer from ASML for grade 7 Mechanical Design Engineer. Base: 100k Relocation: TBD Sign on: 5k Annual bonus: 10% YOE: MS+3 Location CT TC per year comes out to 110k excluding sign on and relocation. Current TC 85k My current company is small and I am 1 of 4 engineers including my bosses, we’re like a family and that has its ups and downs. Sometimes we have no work and sometimes there is too much work, on top of that if my boss doesn’t feel like doing something he will just throw it on my lap. I like the thought of a bigger company and the better benefits I get from them but it’s hard to quantify the change since I’ve been with this company since the start of my career. Thoughts? #hardware #interview #semiconductor
Negotiate, you're getting lowballed. But you're unlikely to get a meaningful increase.
I would but I don’t know how much more of an increase I will see, according to talent acquisition I’m already at the top of pay scale for the position at hand. PM me I would like to talk more with you if possible.
man you gotta get some rsu. that offer seems like a low-ball. especially in the current times
I asked, unfortunately they don’t do RSU but they do have an employee stock purchase program. ME and SE roles get different benefits in order to be competitive in their prospective roles
Where do you live? Wilton is HCOL. 110k seems like a lowball for the area.
I live in Stamford, rent isn’t bad and I’m able to get by comfortably. The commute would be 20 minutes
Check if they give any RSU. It will bump ur TC. I am also Mech engineer in semiconductor industry and get good RSUs. Base looks good for CT
A too pay scale job grade 6 working 45-50 hours a week every week will make about 100k. G7 doesn’t get overtime but G6 does
ASML doesn’t give rsu below G8.
That’s a lie cause I’m G6 and I get RSUs
That looks like a pretty decent offer. What does grade 7 ME mean? How many grades do they go up to?
The grade is the level of work and responsibilities you have. They also correspond to YOE and extent of education, in my case having a masters and low years of experience doesn’t qualify me for Grade 8. I believe they go up to grade 9. The grades also account for interns and associate engineers.
