Hi all, I recently received an interview request for Partner Development representative in AWS. Can anyone give me guidance regarding the interview process and the what the job looks like and also any tips to crack the interview? Also, anything helpful for this interview. I appreciate your help. Thank you #amazon #aws #awssales #sales #enterprise #marketing @amazon @aws
What's your background?
I have an MBA in Marketing
MBA from which school?
SDR is a level 4 position with about 2-4 years of experience. Does that sound about right?
It’s lvl 4. What’s the pay range ?
OTE of 95-125k. I’ve never been a SDR/PDR so not entirely sure (so wide delta there). Your comp will be broken down like something as follows: Base: 75-90k Bonus (paid over two years): 15-22k RSUs (vesting over four years): 10-15 Incentive pay (20% of your base): 15-18k Anyone else that has actually been a PDR, please validate.
Where at?
This is entry level sales. Cold calling involved. But good way to get your foot in the door if you perform.
I've heard that base salary is ~90k. No RSUs. Don't know what sort of variable comp you can expect to earn.
Is there any joining bonus and also part from base pay is there commission too? Is it base + commission pay structure ?
Thank you for all the comments!
Does anyone know how many rounds of interview would be there for PDR?
I mean things changed with Covid but generally speaking.. 1. Pre screening with sourcer recruiter 2. Screening with HM or Sr member of the team 3. Conversation with recruiter about best to prepare for onsite 4.. On-site.. I had 4-5 interviews and a lunch.. 5. Results.. Salary negotiations Everything is being done virtually right now
Thank you!
Any advice on how to prep for phone screen with HM? I have my prescreen with HM for sales role, the recruiter told me that it will be about how my experience fits with the role etc. Should I just prep for behavioral and have a story for each LP
A PDR is not an SDR. PDR will be a role in Doug Yuem’s org and is an entry level position usually. It is fixed comp, not variable.
There is a pretty comprehensive guide on the careers page of AWS. I would suggest looking at that. That’s all you need.
