Do Solutions Architects at AWS get PIPed as frequently as SDEs? If so what would cause them to be PIPed? Any PIP stories out there from AWS SAs? #pip #aws

What makes an SA 'PIP eligible'?
There two types of roles in Amazon: 1. IC 2. Mgr IC role has 99% chance of PIP.
Yes, SAs can get piped too. However, it's not like they will get piped because of one thing, rather a combination of factors like not be customer obsessed, pissing off a key customer AND lowering the bar for the account team, can't finish AWSome builder (aka Master Builder), don't influence impactful workloads, constantly fail to earn trust, struggle to learn or finish training, don't pass the AWS certifications, don't have any entries on MBR etc.
Earns trust? I was a manager at Amazon and got PIPed.. main reason was connection scores that were averaging 3.4/5.0 (of course anything less than 4.5/4.3 is not acceptable at Amazon) The amount of effort that goes into maintaining that is crazy ! And on top of that as a manager one's hands are tied!!
