AWS SDE-2 Salary Expectations
AWS recruiter reached out asking about salary expectations. Glassdoor has an estimate of around €80k-90k base for SDE-2 which seems to be really low. Even booking dot com a tier-2 company is paying 94k base + RSUs + Performance bonus ~ 120k (had discussion with their HR) Location - Amsterdam YOE - 3 TC in India - 25 LPA

Cause you don’t know stuff or dont read. Booking pays peanut stocks while amazon doesn’t. Go to booking if you are getting an offer.
Amazon vesting schedule sucks asss. 5%, 15%, 40%, 40%. I won’t stay for more than 2 years.
You will get joining bonus for the first two years to offset that low vest
