I am not a fan of Amazon’s culture nor the fact that they hired a bunch of graduates just like that (that’s their recruiting model recently). However, shitting on them and forgetting that they actually produced (and in some cases they still are) some of the best tech and best engineers is wrong. Good luck to people clearing the bar for their SDE 3 positions.
^ this. AWS is the leader in cloud market. They hire a lot as they dominate that market. Plus with the recent base pay increase news, they will attract more talent.
