Unresponsive and inefficient… reminds me of this software consultancy that hired a bunch of business information systems majors right out of my college and billed them out to clients. That place had a funny name…I think it might have been based out of India or something.

I am not a fan of Amazon’s culture nor the fact that they hired a bunch of graduates just like that (that’s their recruiting model recently). However, shitting on them and forgetting that they actually produced (and in some cases they still are) some of the best tech and best engineers is wrong. Good luck to people clearing the bar for their SDE 3 positions.
^ this. AWS is the leader in cloud market. They hire a lot as they dominate that market. Plus with the recent base pay increase news, they will attract more talent.
