Generally AWS, but it also depends in what you're working on. I'd consider working on core virtualization / container tech supporting all GCP container based services (GKS, App Engine, etc.) 10x more prestige than working on the AWS php SDK lol and anyone actually reading your resume will likely see it the same way.

Per first sentence, all other things held constant - AWS has a better reputation as the industry leader among cloud services providers.

Well, people actually use AWS.

I’d say the only thing more prestigious about GCP is if you’re working on Kubernetes related stuff. Otherwise it sucks, nobody uses it, and AWS is widely seen as the top dog across the board.

For DevOps related tech job - dockers, openshift, kubernetes, Kafka etc., I feel GCP wins. And more and more companies are adopting kubernetes. Azure is used by mammoth organizations for well integration with their existing windows based client-server setup when they realised they want to move to cloud. GCP knowledge+certificate gives a great career boost when u probably apply to Google. AWS is used everywhere, including lots of start-ups I think. Azure = easy to learn & get certified + stable but low paying job AWS = ever growing /additional cloud modules e.g. sagemaker in 2018 for ML, synapse etc. with expanding clients, so new opportunities. GCP = all innovative tech
