'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
Seeing few posts about layoffs at Abnormal Security on LinkedIn anyone can confirm teams impacted or total number? Not available on layoffs.fyi #layoffs
is layoffs.fyi not getting updated in the last 2 days? Evernote also had layoffs but do not see it in layoffs.fyi.
Abnormal is normalized now.
Large number of HR, Marketing, and Finance, very few in engineering. Less than 50 people
If you include all layoffs from this year, it would be most teams and 75+
Yep, but less than 50 at a time to avoid warn act
Seems like they got rid of all or most of the staff swe 😒
lol what’s your definition of “most”? don’t appreciate the speculation if you don’t even know how many engineers we have
IMO the staff SWEs who were not performing at staff level were laid off. While the layoffs in HR seemed to reflect cost restructuring — eng seemed to be performance related.
I am interviewing them for sde-2 role in India. They are hiring aggressively 😟😐
Ya they laid off a bunch of highly paid SWE in the US and then they’re hiring in India and will pay way less 😡 it’s all just greed to make more money. They’re doing fine financially
The India hiring is for a business segment that’s growing, so I wouldn’t worry there. The US eng fired were for performance reasons or because their function was restructured and no longer needed. You could argue “highly” paid is actually “overly” for some of those affected
Hmm i was interested in this company. They were doing really well. Are they still a rocket ship? Heard startups are struggling.
Yup, still growing significantly. Still the second fastest growing security company behind Wiz
I was laid off here at abnormal. I was put on a pip, beat and exceeded the pip, then still got laid off after being asked about promotion a week beforehand. This place is toxic and leadership is awful. Benefits and the teammates not including managers are the only good things here.
Also got laid off even though I’d been promoted a few months beforehand. Was never pipd
I’m so sorry to hear that.
Abnormal to have layoffs in Abnormal
