The acquisition is public so I can share this information. I work at a small technology consultancy as a Junior data engineer. I joined as a grad just over a year ago. I had already started to look for new jobs as I wanted to change over to software engineering and wanted a pay bump too. I found out last week that we are being acquired. I was wondering, from a career perspective, whether I should continue with my job search or maybe Accenture might not be a bad thing. Given the current job market, It's going to take a while to get a new job anyway so I'll get to see what Accenture will be offering once the acquisition completes. Can anyone share their experience at Accenture? I heard it's very dependant on where you are in the company. Thanks! I'm in the UK btw. #Accenture #Data Engineering #Software Engineering #Consulting
Tc and yoe?
Accenture was a nightmare.
If you don’t get hikes post acquisition, run!
If you want to and can play politics. You’ll thrive. If you don’t or won’t. Then run for the hills

Accenture is a good company to work for and treats its employees well. There is a popular saying in Accenture and in general in consulting companies- we don’t make software or products or own any assets, our people are our products and assets, we treat them well.
Treat them well? I haven’t got any hikes since the last 2 years. I’ve got certifications, awards and all sorts of shit. Afaik, it’s not just me. This year as well they announced no hike at level. Btw, I’m also an acquired “asset” 😂
