What does UK have anything to do with Microsoft Activision acquisition? It's an American company buying another company. At the end of the day, it's the FTC that has the final say right? Stock down 11% cuz UK blocks the deal https://finance.yahoo.com/news/uk-blocks-microsoft-69-billion-123153776.html

Rahul Gandhi is poison but the people who believe in him are a lot worse
At that $69 billion price, if I wanted to see Microsoft hurt I would let them buy it. Let's face it: if Microsoft were to buy them today, they would be paying half off or more. This has echoes of MS trying to pay $45 billion for Yahoo.
Strike price is $95/share. All time high was ~$100/share, and acquisition offer came in when the stock was at its recent lowest, in the near $50s. I may be misunderstanding your point, but $95/share doesn’t seem like half off.
I meant that all stocks have declined since the offer was made. ATVI would have also declined. ATVI only held up because of the Microsoft bid.
