Activsion Blizzard Staff/ SSE engineer interview process
I was thinking of applying but wanted to understand the process of interviewing for Staff engineer vs SSE roles in Activision Advertising group. Also what are different levels and responsibilities there. As per JD: Staff TC - max 200K SSE TC - max 180K They have billions of users gaming but why pay is so low #tech #activsion #blizzard #king
“Passion tax” - lots of folks would prefer to work in gaming vs. other “boring” industries. This is especially the case (was) for Activision Blizzard which for a long time has been considered as one of the best places to work, due to their robust game catalog/games as service (less likely to get laid off during a drought of game releases)
Will you all get MS RSU once acquired or can there be lay offs if deal does not go thru to cover cost..
