Added my VP to my Instagram, I feel I cannot be myself with them on there

He is pretty invasive in peoples privacy to be honest asking personal questions at the office. He views every story and if I remove him I’m sure he will notice. What do I do now? Please no “why would you add your coworkers to IG” comments pls. I also need to keep my job to pay my mortgage.

What’re you posting on your story bro

Let’s say I bought a house or bought a car and want to share it with friends. Then if my vp see’s they’ll know I have debt and need to keep my job so they’ll pile on more work. Executives do this all the time.

You can restrict your posts and stories to “close friends only”. And add all your non-work friends to this “close friends” list. This way your work colleagues can’t see what you’re sharing.

You know there's an option to hide stories from specific people. I do that a lot. Posts/Reels are visible to everyone who follow you

Restrict him. He won't get any notifications from you

Create a private profile? Add other people to close friends?

Nutanix pipkumar Jul 19, 2023

That’s why I don’t do no social media.

That's highly unprofessional of him

Why do you care if he is watching? He can also learn to live a life from your stories. You do you.
