Anyone can help me to see if i can negotiate for a higher offer Base 200k Stocks 287k/4 years Bonus 15% Signon bonus(initially no) but i asked so they told me to come up with a number. Anyone has experience fo this? I am thinking 60k-65k Job location is Bay Area, its Senior position in the Adobe Business Platform Current TC: 280k YOE 10
Following. Also in end rounds at Adobe. I find asking for signing bonus is best if you can do a bottoms up on the cost of you leaving. Look at missing out on upcoming bonus, etc. How was porsche??
Im trying capture all the stocks plus bonus that i will leave before the vesting happen. Porsche was good, good benefit, but no career growth. Thats why i left last year. I m in different company now.

You need to ask for p5 level saying you’re senior etc etc Ask for 85k sign on Don’t accept it your base is lower than your current base as the stock can go down to 200 and stay there for 5 years Way too risky to bet it all on stock gains.
The recruiter told me its senior level p4. I agree in this economy, i would rather rely on the base instead of stock. My current company’s stock goes down by 80%. The company has to grant the supplement twice but i cant compare to its value before pandemics. Di you think they will agree on the 85k sign on. Initially, i was thinking of 60k, which will cover all the incoming stock vesting plus bonus if im leaving my current company.
How far out are you calculating unvested stock? Like for the next few months? Year or beyond?

Nope. I am from India location and you are in west. Cultures are very different.
