I joined adobe 9 months back when it's stock price was $600 but now it has plunged to $420. Stocks was 25% of my total comp. What can/should I do now? #engineering #software
We are in same boat. Just hold on stock. At some time in long future, when we are about to retire, it Wil come back may be. :D
Same RSU price for me as well. And mine is 33% of my total comp. 😣
I am also in same boat . Adobe lowballed me heavily even though I had a better offer . I assumed anyways stocks will go high and compensate other offer and joined here..
I doubt stock is gonna go high anytime soon. It is expected go down even more in upcoming months, you need to see the analysis of many companies on the stock, all of them has reduce their target price by another (they already reduced in December 2021) 20%. Don't close your eyes and believe stock is gonna be fine.
All analyst rating was buy/ strong buy when I had joined adobe.. (almost 6 months back )... Getting a feeling to switch because of this .. i donot evn have great WLB as such..

Is The Great Salary Reset of 2024 Upon Us?
Nothing, your TC is down by 7% in short term
Should I confront this with my manager and let him know that I am concerned about this? Can/should company do something about it for those who were hired when stock price was really high?
OP they give stock so that you have motivation to keep the stock going up.
