At the end of the day, itβs 9-5 job that pays bills. It was never meant to make us rich. Owning a business makes owners rich. Working at a job does not. We trade for stability here.
We the people will always be the bottom feeder. Some of us made escapades to 400k+ tc with 3 YOE and almost escaped the bottom which caused an imbalance that the βsystemβ does not like. This salary reset is trying to push us back to bottom to maintain the % of bottom feeders.
Pay bands have dropped 50%, yesterday I had a company offer 1/3 of my current TC. This is the new normal, get used to it.
