Look at the finest Apple products, they don’t need this heavy advertising budget. Likes of Meta exists because companies are not producing great products and hence rely on heavy advertising
Tesla would be a better example with no PR org and no ad spend.
Agree with this example. But Tesla doesn't know how much can it grow further with marketing
Tesla production can't meet demand, what would they get out of boosting it further?
apple spends tons on advertising
It is less than 0.5 % of Apple revenue
thats more than presidential campaigns spend
2/10 troll post. Apple's vice grip on American phone culture was born entirely from Steve Job's marketing prowess.
Why do you think it is a troll, don’t you agree Apple products are finest?
Objectively, Apple doesn't make anything special. Almost everything they've "invented" in the past 20 years was previously invented in niche markets. Apple's ability to market shit sandwiches into chocolate cake is why they are a trillion dollar company.
Yes you are right. By definition, only a few can be good; otherwise, the meaning of good dilutes. Therefore, advertising serves the masses
Marketing is also about identifying true need of customer and working backwards from there, not just showing cool ads. So spending on the former is not bad IMO.

Lol! This link contradicts what you said. Apple does spend heavily on marketing - https://www.iphoneincanada.ca/news/how-much-apple-spends-on-advertising/
$1.8 B is not much considering their revenue of $365B , it is less than half percent of the revenue
