Why is Bay Area terribly dressed?
I just got admitted into a masters program starting this spring, but not being able to work to support yourself seems brutal, how did you get through it financially?, how high were your living expenses?, did you work on campus?, did you get an internship?, also if you graduated already, how long did it take to make your money back (i know it depends on way too many factors but still). I will be living in CT.
😞
Why do you wanna come to the US for your education? Degrees are kind of pointless if you actually know your shit. I assume you’re trying to get a work visa afterwards? If so considerate this your investment for future earnings
Well on one hand im kind of switching careers from finances to tech (data science), but yeah on the other hand i want to get a work visa afterwards and really make the most out of my experience.
Oh man, as a data scientist who is transitioning out. You’re making a big mistake if you’re spending money to get into this field.
You can work in the university...
Yeah that’s what i was told
Not easy to find an on campus/TA/RA job. Depends on the university.
I did an on-campus development job. $12/hour but I went to low reputed university with low CoL so I was able to pay my rent and buy food. I applied for internship that paid my last semester fees and I got scholarship for thrid semester but even after all this it costed me $40k
Mine came out free with coding jobs and 1 semester ra :D
You are brilliant cruella 😉 Not me!

You aren’t gonna convince the immigration officer if you have such questions. They can sense fear.
Well i should be good with my student loan but still curious
Lot of students work on campus. In the dining courts and such. Do not EVER work off campus unless you’re allowed. Oh and you can be a drug dealer too.
