What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Hey folks. Mid-20’s Biotech Masters grad with some business develpment experience. Currently working in CI consulting in Pharma. REALLY interested in a career in Pharma Strategy/Branding or even Marketing, but have no idea on what the career path would look like. Any advice/guidance?
Competitive intelligence will do better than marketing. Pharma is also a sector that has troubles making money and so will spend less in marketing overtime or through periods of hardship. CI on the other hand is always needed.
“pharma has trouble making money”. Lolwut. Where is your shiny new campus coming from?
I don’t know about the “Pharma has a hard time making money”, but marketing/branding does seem like it would be the first to go during layoffs. Never considered that perspective, thanks!
Isn’t Pharma cyclical business and do lay-offs periodically? Why don’t you get into Med device ?
I’m new to this, but I almost have the perception that once in Med device, it’s hard to get out
