Depends on the location. If I presume the location is bay area then it's a lowball, but if it's a fully remote position (like mine is) then it's a good offer for mid-west or southern state. Regardless of the location you can definitely negotiate harder if you have another offer in hand.
You mind sharing what your offer was from Affirm and what level it was?
That’s super insulting :( we will keep losing good talent and hiring “seniors” with 3 YOE because we won’t actually pay for decent talent.

Nothing much changed. I have not accepted the offer, Since they don't care experience, from where candidate coming form etc.

Wow my wife with 2 yoe who’s not even eng gets over 300k worth of stock a year. I guess there’s a huge difference between joining pre ipo vs post. You might want to try for higher level as well. The levels there is a bit inflated. So senior really maps to L4 at fang.
Of course there’s a huge difference between pre and post ipo. Im sure pre-ipo HR is making more then most people joining post IPO
