Affirm comp structure

Trying to piece together some of the stuff together. I know affirm offers come in a bunch of components: 1. Initial grant that vests over 4 years + 2. Initial grant that vests over 2 years I also know refreshers are about 30% of the initial grant. Is that 30% of (1+2)? I assume it also vests over 2 years. Is that more or less true?

Grants are over 3 now instead of 4. No more cliff.

OP what level at Affirm? They reached out and I’m trying to calibrate a bit

Meta KtQN12 OP Jan 19, 2022

Their level mapping is similar to what you see on levels.fyi

You get 2 grants - 1 vests over 3 years and 1 vests over 2 years. Refreshers vest over 2 years. And there’s no cliff and monthly vesting now

Would also like some clarity on this. Recruiter mentioned 90k annually for 2 year grant and 100-150k annually for 3 year grant for L5 position most likely. Does this sound accurate?

Keep in mind that they calculate the RSU grants using a 90 day trailing average and they were at an all time high of $170+ in November

Meta KtQN12 OP Jan 21, 2022

Great info. Other companies usually use past months average

Do you have an offer? Is it worth joining at this time with the 90 day trailing average RSU grant price?

Meta KtQN12 OP Jan 21, 2022

I used to a while ago. Thinking if i should reengage or not 90 day average is certainly something I'd take into account now that i know it
