Affirm vs Stealth Start-up
Hi, I got offers from Affirm and stealth start-up. Affirm TC - 285k Stealth TC - 180k + paper money (250k) Both positions are in SF. Current compensation: 210k YOE-2 SDE-II in Amazon What would be positive and negatives of both options?
As you said the stealth startup is paper money. Affirm is an established company by now with a proven (though controversial) model. In case it doesn’t work out recruiters will still recognize the affirm name

An obvious negative would be the startup flops. It's unlikely Affirm goes bankrupt anytime soon.
Yes. Agree to that. But if it works, I will be in a much better position than affirm. That's what I am confused about, how much risk should I take
