After RH, is it Coinbase turn?
It seems like the app is down, gives a notification Connectivity issue but your funds are safe. This has been status for last 3 hours. Should have listened to advice on crypto forums not invest via Coinbase. Anyone from Coinbase comment on why these things happen exactly when things are volatile in markets?
It's looking like a server issue. Crazy traffic of new customers right now cus of the whole GME situation. If they are planning growth, they really have to invest in their infra.
Why people put their faith in anything coming out of Coinbase is beyond me
It's more people putting faith in Bitcoin. Have you been watching the news lately? Everything that is happening is pushing young people more and more towards fiat alternatives. Coinbase is at the forefront of that industry.
Because few people know when they are new to crypto, I initially accepted my payments in altcoin in Coinbase wallet to realize later I can't convert or transferred it back till they support those. I made a mistake keeping things with Coinbase for long, should have moved out from CB earlier.
But this pattern is always present whenever crypto markets go up Coinbase has always these connection issues. I used to think it was FUD but seems like it is very true, they do not want the existing users to cash out but their motives are hidden.

I have tried bitstamp and liked it. Quick to onboard but very limited cryptocurrencies on the platform only the major ones btc, eth, xrp, bch ...
