L4 offer for Airbnb and Google ICT3 for Apple Airbnb - 170 base, 270k equity, 15% bonus, TC 263 and 25k sign on Google - 155 base, 338k equity, 15% bonus, TC 263 and 50k sign on Apple - 170 base, 300k equity, 8% bonus, TC 260 and 50k sign on Google and Airbnb will tax me as a Texan, Apple would tax me as a Californian while remote due to covid (makes a 25k difference in 2021) iOS 2 yoe, FE 3 yoe, this is an iOS role Airbnb sounds like they have the best WLB and time off and potential for remote work so long term, Airbnb might be the best financially if stock does ok and I can remain in Texas
I would have 100% gone with Airbnb pre-IPO, but there's probably limited upside at their current valuation. I would go with Google.
Apple and Google will not allow fully remote work for good so meh. Airbnb is your only choice if remote work is important to you
Airbnb stock has 5x since pre IPO. I wouldn't count too much upside. I'd go with Google. Work there for a couple years and you'll enter any company at higher level.
Take Google just because its in Texas
Role is in MV but it’s remote until September
Airbnb said they’d tax you as a Texan while remote due to Covid? Is the role technically SF based or actually remote?
What price will your RSUs be granted at. If there is anyway you can get the sub $68 IPO price go for airbnb.
At market price so like $140 or so. Not great if it comes down. I agree with others on potential limited upside
I ended up choosing Google today
Did Airbnb give you 100% remote in the end?
Former Airbnb, current Apple here. This early in your career, I would NOT go Airbnb. Airbnb is a hot mess, and still runs like a start-up internally. Go with Apple or Google and 2 years from now you can work wherever you want—even Airbnb.

With more governments shutting down short term use for Airbnb and tax the short term revenue, Airbnb has serious supply issues unless it invests in its own properties which it cannot really do. Airbnb is a dangerous choice
