I did on-site at Airbnb and completed CVI and now awaiting hc decision. Is the hc panel different from the interviewers? What’s is the likelihood of passing hc with no bad feedback given from interviewers?
I joined a year and half ago and I had to wait for 3-4 weeks to get an offer after interviews and hiring committee (hc is not the people who interviewed you) approval. Was very frustrating but it worked out. After you pass and ready to get an offer, you need a hiring manager to pick up your resume and want to hire you. Then only you will get an offer. Congrats and good luck mate!
Thanks! I think it is different now. I am working with specific role. The hm of the role has been involved since the beginning.
Yeah it’s different now, I have a feeling that passing interview doesn’t mean you get an offer as you are competing with other candidates for one specific role. But if HM manager also agree to hire I don’t see why HC push it back. I’m not involved in any hire recently so no idea though, good luck with it!
What role were you interviewing for? Backend, mobile?
