Airbnb vs Pinterest vs Facebook vs LinkedIn Similar offers and level. Which one would you choose for a product management role? What are some pros and cons of these companies?
Depends on the team duh
FB = Airbnb > LinkedIn > Pinterest
+1
Why would anyone in their right mind put LinkedIn above Pinterest?
Offers ?
Any numbers for the offer?
Interesting to hear that from an Airbnb PM. Why would you suggest Facebook over Airbnb? I’d love to hear internal thoughts.
Send me a dm
FB, but please share offer details. Thx!
FB or Airbnb. Will be a similar experience but with airbnb you can probably have more scope and impact, it’s still a relatively small company. Either will be a huge change from PM at Microsoft and you will learn lots. What is the TC like?
How is Airbnb doing financially as a company? Is the valuation justified?
Yes, they have access to the financials and everything when making valuations
Facebook or Pinterest. LinkedIn has very little financial upside and Airbnb is not a good place to be a PM — decision making is way too top down and sloooow because of heavily design-focused culture. Pinterest pros are good culture, based in SF, and solid growth / valuation justified. PM org is small with only 1200 employees so also feels like a startup compared to FB.
You are joking about Pinterest valuation, right?
Using the multiples that other ad companies get when they ipo, not a joke. No point arguing it, though. We are both at companies with rich valuations and we both are making calculated risks. Best of luck!

Why aren't you endorsing Airbnb? Aren't you already working there?
Any numbers on offer details so others can benefit as well?

Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
FB >> Airbnb and Pinterest >> LinkedIn . How much experience do you have and which MSFT product did you work on as a PM? How much experience do you have and where are they leveling you? I am also in talks with these places so it will be good to know the level. Is LinkedIn even a new job considering its a part of msft
