Akamai - Finally got an interview
I made a post a couple weeks ago about not hearing from an Akamai recruiter after their request to set up a call. However I finally got in touch and the hiring manager wants an interview. This is for a position on a new team in NY. Would anyone have any advice for interviewing at Akamai? Havent had any discussions on TC is that normal at Akamai?
What role is this for? Team? Hiring manager?
Come on there are like 3 reqs in NYC you can figure it out š. And op said new team.

I have a req and got over 150 resumes. Just due to volume things will slow down
Just like he mentioned^ things are moving but slowly. Weāll see how things move along. The hiring manager interview went well. IMO. Awaiting if there will be next steps!
I have a recruiter call with akamai, what should I expect?
Donāt expect anything the role title changed which indicates hiring team is not sure what to expect. I poked around a bit and heard they rejected a 10 yr veteran who applied internally and would have been a great fit.
Usually can be very technical, but alot of cultural fit. Good luck.
