4 years into my company and department. started at $50k (needed a first “break” out of college) and now just made jt to $78k. Some coworkers recently left for outside positions with higher pay. I am not sure if I should stay in this current company, or look around for better paying job. Only thing keeping me around is benefits - remote work as desired, 5 weeks vacation, flexible working hours, 4 months maternity leave (will need in the next 12-18 months). Industry: Supply Chain Edu: MA & BA Location: Northern NJ Thoughts? TIA!
Yes, you're underpd for greater NYC market (including s to Princeton). But if maternity leave is in your future, you might come out net positive staying, given that next employer could have worse policies/you'll need to prove yourself again while you're trying to reduce stress. My recc: start applying on maternity leave
