All I see on Google and Quora are questions about moving from engineering to product, or marketing to product. But what if I want to write code instead of slide decks? What if I’d rather enjoy solving complex problems and leave the bet-making to someone else? I’m curious to hear if anyone has made this transition and whether it was a successful move.
It can be a great way to boost your career depending on if you fully understand your skills and how they match the engineering role. They are radically different jobs.

I think they're roughly equal but I always thought Eng is a liiiitle bit more.
